This summer’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” is Shakespeare’s most popular play and its mixture of love, magic and laughter reminds us all of the power of dreams. July 11th - August 11th at the Island Stage Left outdoor stage on Wold Road. Admission is FREE! Donations appreciated. Bring a blanket & dress warmly! No latecomers, please.

Pod Nods – Sleepover at the Whale Museum for Kids
Is your kiddo between 6 and 11 and totally into Orca whales? Does a night without the kids on your San Juan Island getaway sound utterly romantic? On Friday, July 26, the Museum features Pod Nods – a Pajama party sleep-over for kids, ages 6-11. Supervised by Whale Museum educators, your little ones will enjoy games, crafts, science projects, snacks, a movie, breakfast and a whale of a good time. Preregistration is required. Events go from 6:30pm to 8:30am.

This popular living history weekend at English Camp National Historical Park allows a glimpse of the past as living history interpreters dressed in period clothing will portray Hudson's Bay Company employees, American soldiers, and British Royal Marines from the mid-1800s.Have a blast at reenactments of pig war, games, demonstrations, music and dancing.
