Flowers & Champagne waiting in your Room
Have a small surprise waiting in your room when you arrive. Order handmade truffles, champagne, a bouquet of flowers, a Spa Decadence package to go with your massages, or call us to arrange for something unique and sweet.

Farm-to-Table Dinner
The San Juan Islands are called the “gourmet archipelago” for a reason. Treat yourself to COHO Restaurant’s Gustatory Rapture, an unforgettable 5-course Valentine’s extravaganza, just steps from our Friday Harbor hotel. Or reserve a spot by the fireplace at Duck Soup in the woods for local, seasonal and foraged fare and handmade cocktails.

Pool & Spa Day
Our comfy Earthbox Inn & Spa is the only hotel on San Juan Island with an indoor heated pool, dry-sauna, jacuzzi and exercise room. Soak before your massage and facial next door in our cute day spa.

Sunset Picnic at Whale Watching Park
Coined one of the best places to see whales from land on earth, Lime Kiln State Park, its historic lighthouse, interpretive trails, and whale watching platforms are a must-do when on the isle. The sun sets around 5:00pm in February. Have a sunset picnic on one of the picnic tables overlooking the steep cliffs.

Saturday Lunch at the Net Shed
You can’t get fresher, plumper oysters than at the Westcott Bay Shellfish Farm. Visit them on Friday nights for Farm-to-Table dinners or on Saturdays for lunch. Reservations highly recommended.

Gallery & Museum Day
Besides cute shops and amazing restaurants, Friday Harbor offers three museums and nine galleries all within walking distance of the Earthbox. Get inspired by the Whale Museum, modern art, or the outdoor San Juan Historical Museum and browse island-made arts and crafts.

Birding at San Juan’s Southern Tip
Explore American Camp National Historical Park and Cattle Point Lighthouse on the southern tip of the isle. Observe raptors and seabirds, sea lion colonies, otters and foxes at this pristine place. Watch for migratory Snow owls, which hunt during the day on the prairie.

Wine Bar Hopping
With two vineyards, a distillery, two breweries on the isle and five wine bars in Friday Harbor alone, the isle’s spirit supply chain is secure and ready to be tested by you!
